This course will review the types of TMDs. Dentists will learn how to easily differentiate between muscle vs. joint conditions and implement medical, dental, pharmacologic and behavioral treatments. Clinical case studies will be presented. The hands-on portion of the course will demonstrate how to perform the orofacial pain examination and how to provide trigger point injections and nerve blocks for the management of orofacial pain conditions.
